Together for Better Living Conditions in Latin America

For over 40 years, Vivamos Mejor has been empowering disadvantaged communities in Latin America to break the cycle of poverty through targeted, time-limited self-help initiatives. We prepare young children for school, support young adults in starting their careers, and help smallholder farming families in the sustainable management of water, forests, and soil.

 

Our Work Makes a Difference!

The impact of our projects is a top priority for Vivamos Mejor. From planning to implementation, we integrate impact evaluation by setting measurable goals and continuously monitoring their achievement. This enables us to ensure the quality of our efforts – both for the people we support and for our donors. In collaboration with Swiss universities, we regularly assess the impact of our work. As a result, we are the only Swiss development organisation to have been awarded the SDC/NADEL Impact Award twice.
