With increasing droughts, hurricanes, and wildfires, Central America is one of the regions most affected by climate change worldwide. For rural communities, it is crucial to understand what the new climatic conditions mean for them. That’s why we strengthen their knowledge and support them in finding solutions to the impacts of climate change.

The number of hungry people worldwide is sharply rising again. Smallholder farms play a key role in food security – in Latin America, they provide 60% of the food supply. However, lack of expertise, overused resources, and limited market access prevent them from realizing their full potential.

Together with smallholder farmers, we are positively changing their circumstances and strengthening their agroecological knowledge.
